About COSMETIC SURGERY
We do a deliberately narrow range of cosmetic surgery, and the reason is the anaesthetic. Every procedure on this page can be done properly under local anaesthetic, as a day case, in a minor operations theatre. You walk in, and you walk out.
That rules things out, and we would rather be clear about it. Facelifts, breast surgery and abdominoplasty need a general anaesthetic, an anaesthetist and a hospital with overnight beds. We do not do those, and a clinic that offers everything from one address is worth a second look.
What we do offer, we do properly. A consultation with the surgeon who will perform the surgery, a written quote before you commit, a cooling-off period rather than a same-day sale, and an honest conversation about what the result will and will not look like.

Every procedure on this page is carried out in a dedicated minor operations theatre, sterile and properly equipped, under local anaesthetic. That is what makes day case cosmetic surgery safe rather than merely convenient. It also sets the honest limit on what we offer: if a procedure needs a general anaesthetic and an overnight bed, it needs a hospital, and we will refer you rather than stretch to it.

The most useful thing a surgeon can tell you is what will still be there afterwards.
Every operation that cuts skin leaves a scar. Good cosmetic surgery puts the scar where it is least visible and closes it carefully, but it does not avoid one. Anyone promising surgery without a scar is describing something else.
Surgery changes structure, not skin quality. Eyelid surgery removes excess lid skin; it does not treat crow’s feet or under eye pigment. Otoplasty repositions ears; it does not change their size. Knowing that in advance is the difference between a good result you are pleased with and a good result you are disappointed by.
And it will not fix how you feel about something else. If a feature has been bothering you for years, surgery on it often helps a great deal. If the dissatisfaction moves from feature to feature, surgery tends to follow it rather than end it, and a good surgeon will raise that with you rather than book the operation. We would rather have that conversation at consultation than after.

- Every procedure here leaves a scar. Where it will be and how it should look is part of your consultation, in writing, before you consent.
- We will tell you when the answer is no. Some requests are better served by a bigger operation elsewhere, and some are better served by doing nothing at all.
- There is no same day discount and no pressure to decide in the room. You leave with a quote and think about it.
- Every procedure carries some risk, including bleeding, infection and scarring. Your surgeon explains the risks that apply to you, in person, before you consent.
- Published prices are a guide. Your final price is confirmed in writing after your consultation, before you commit to anything.
- If your problem is better treated on the NHS, or by someone else, we will say so. We would rather lose the booking than take it wrongly.
